"Women and Wildlands"©

As the voices of the women and children gather intensity, she begins to jump higher and spin.. Laughing with the sheer of joy the moment, ,her beads and earrings keeping rhythm, she becomes a blur of colorful movement. She lives on the southeastern shore of Lake Turkana, in the Northern Frontier District of Kenya. The Turkana live from the resources the lake provides along with their small stock. Her beadwork and head wear are distinctive to her tribe.
